I got married long before Pinterest. I know, I know. *Gasp* How did I ever manage? I didn't have a cute photo booth for my guests and there wasn't one single mason jar in sight. Needless to say, it wasn't fancy or stylish, but it was mine. And, though I say I wouldn't change a thing {because I truly am grateful for the time, effort, and funds that everyone - primarily, my parents - put into my special day}, I can't help but daydream about what my wedding would look like if I had the chance to do it all over again.
With all that being said, I'd like to share my daydream wedding with you. {a.k.a. Someone please use these ideas, because I have no plans to have a second wedding... unless I can talk my hubby into a vow renewal... is a 5 year anniversary too soon for a vow renewal?}
CEREMONY SITE
RECEPTION
Inside the barn; at night, so it looks like this one:

Decorated to look like this one:
I'd love a dessert table that looks like this one:
And, of course, what wedding these days is complete without a proper photo booth?
BRIDAL PARTY
Taking inspiration from the same wedding as above, may I present to you: my dream bridal party:
Honestly I love everything about that wedding. Be sure to check it out HERE.
I know there are so many more details I'm leaving out by not going on... However, I think you get the idea. "Anthropologie-eque" really is the perfect way to describe my daydream wedding. And, yes, I realize I am "on the bandwagon", "following the crowd", and whatever other saying you can come up with referring to doing what everyone else seems to be doing. But, there is a reason this look/style is so popular. And, honestly, this look is perfect for anyone from budget-bride to luxe-bride.
There's one more thing I want to share in this post though. This week's theme for Friday Fancies over at Long Distance Love {will be posted tomorrow} is all about weddings. Specifically, what should you wear as a wedding guest? So, I thought it would be fun to share what I'd wear, if I were invited to an Anthropologie-eque wedding, like the one from my daydreams...
I hope you enjoyed daydreaming with me. If you're not married yet, or you are married and had your wedding to do over again, what would you include that you didn't before? What would you wear to an Anthropologie-style wedding?
*HUGS*
